Comeback No 52
February 9, 2013

Nobody surfs forever… we heard that… but forget forever – we want it now.
When you lose something precious… there’s always that fear you’ll never get it back. After 6 months buried in a dark cave, the reason for living has almost returned. With two mixed attempts under my belt, there’s finally this emerging belief that riding waves may be part of the life again.
We never truly know what we’ve got until its gone… but if there’s any chance of a finding it again – we best get busy…

…i’m feeling your joy Sofjan!
Look forward to sharing it around John… see you when I see you..
wow , i guess looking on the brighter side you will have these next couple of months to train and get strong again.before the wind swithes and lights up the crowded side of the bukit, and i reckon you will be back with something to prove with the strong will to succeed & make up for lost water time,.. “you will make it up”. and be ordering more boards soon ,as usual.
Best of luck on the recovery, surfing brings life allowing us all to become warriors for the moment, dreaming of what was, what may come and the joy / anticipation of paddling in now.
Yeah mate… all of the above
Without surfing who are we to be?
A challenged soul doomed to unrequited love…
you get to be a kook twice bear, but one with a shark’s cunning this time … let’s hope they’re ready for you out there.
Yes Pete… we come into the world the same way we leave it – a Kook. News flash… “Shark Bear just sited off the southern reefs of the bukit…”
