Next stop Wonderland…

September 11, 2013

Inspiration is the key to the universe, the reason stuff happens – it’s what sets the world on fire.
For tropical creatures, the outer island stratosphere is the ultimate dreamscape… a place where anything can happen. Within the sanctuary of crystal blue waters and palm fringed beaches, the soul becomes powerful… pure… invincible.

From a single notion, one can build an entire life. From just one drop we can taste an entire ocean. It doesn’t take much, just a single spark to set our imagination free.

Living in the islands helps one remember why its good to be alive. There’s so much beauty in this world and we must respect these gifts. We only have one shot at the life cycle… there’s no time for dress rehearsals… every day counts.

The song still remains the same – do everything you can… for as long as you can. Whatever the dream, stay with it and never stop believing. There’s limitless gold for those of us still looking.

Just reach out and touch it.

Ah it brings a tear to my eye. Ya i wrestled and fought and dragged that damn beast of a longboard from Hawaii thru different countries and time zones and airports and excess overweight charges to get it out there to Johnny only to find it was the wrong board!!! But he said it was the board he had learned to surf on when he was 8 years old and it had come full circle now out to the island. So it was a special and appreciated addition to his quiver at the private surf sanctuary that is TOGAT NUSA. Which means “Island Child”. Getting “chicken skin”. Brilliant words and photos as usual Sof, thanks for more much needed inspiration, keeping the dream alive!

Wow with words and pictures like that you could inspire a whole nation. If Martin Luther king was a surfer, this is what his I have a dream speech would have sounded and looked like and even natural footers would have been sold.

Bun… that old ‘Bing’ original weighs more than a motorbike – Lord knows how you travelled with it from Hawaii to the outer islands of Indo! Terry the magician copped that board on his mouth once – and nearly lost his front teeth.
